1Customer introduction:

A Canadian-based start-up led by founder Albert Feghaly, who is a research fellow at the University of Montreal, is looking to revolutionize the world of scientific publishing. The company is using cutting-edge Cardano technology to build an innovative blockchain publishing platform. The main motivation behind this initiative is to provide scientists worldwide with a cost-effective solution for publishing their research and results. By leveraging blockchain, the startup aims to open new avenues for scientific discovery and dissemination.

2Problem / Goal:

The first step of the Intellart project was to build an innovative blockchain publishing platform on Cardano so that scientists can tokenize and present their scientific work. Currently, the focus is on developing Pubweave - a platform that allows scientists to publish preliminary versions of their research, receive feedback and collaborate with others in the field.

3Solution:

Our team designed and developed a user-centric NFT minting system along with a customized smart contract to enable on-chain sales of NFTs.

4Results / Benefits:

With a custom NFT minting system and tailored smart contract, the client now has a tangible asset that can be leveraged with powerful marketing efforts. No longer limited by the lack of a working product to demonstrate, the client is now in an ideal position to showcase their product to potential users and drive real results from marketing efforts.

5Inspiration:

As a passionate scientist and active member of the scientific community, and with a keen interest in blockchain technology, the client wanted to revolutionize the way scientific research is conducted. The client's vision is to provide a unique and groundbreaking solution to the scientific community by eliminating intermediaries and enabling decentralized, open, and transparent peer review.
